Reciprocating Saw Blades

Starrett offers industrial quality high-speed steel edge bi-metal blades. These blades have a high-speed steel cutting edge welded to a tough, flexible back. This combination provides long life and makes them virtually unbreakable. Our reciprocating saw blades have the pitch printed on the shank end so that it will not easily wear off - no more guessing the pitch of a used blade. In addition, blades that are individually packaged on blister cards or pouches have information printed in English, Spanish and French. These blades are used in hand-held power tools and are often subjected to twisting and bending. To give the best value, we do not offer solid high speed blades because the break too easily under these conditions.

Our Fastcut™ variable pitch blades will cut a wider selection of materials and thickness than constant pitch blades.
Special purpose reciprocating blades include scroll cutting, plaster cutting and carbide grit saws.
Our new Bearcat™ reciprocating blades have a super-aggressive 3 pitch set, ideal for ripping through large sections of wood, multi-layer walls/demo work and more. Offered in 6" and 12" sizes in 3 teeth per inch/25mm.

Choosing a reciprocating saw blade

Starrett bi-metal high speed steel blades will cut any material that can be saw cut(wood, meal, plastic), so you don`t have to choose a wood cutting saw or a metal cutting saw, etc.
First, decide the length of saw you need for your job
Then refer to the cutting guide for the cross section you intend to cut and choose the pitch (TPI/25mm)
