The core of our carbide tipped saw grinding department is our Walter CNC5D Grinding Center.

The Walter has all the qualities required to produce superior results in grinding saw blades. With CNC precision, the machine design allows absolutely vibration free grinding on saw blades up to 39" and 8MM kerf. All blades are ground in an oil bath and with our specially developed diamond grinding wheels for both top and face, we are able to provide the most consistent superior grind finish in the industry. Total Indicator Roundness is within .0005" plus the bore tolerance.

The HSS and cold saw grinding is performed on Schmidt-Tempo grinders.

Our ECE-45 CNC OD Grinder uses CBN grinding technology under high pressure cooling.

Our S-630 chamfering machines use CBN grinding technology. Tolerances of less than .001"total indicator roundness.

The finest CNC machines can only do what it's operator tells it to do.Saw & Specialty Corporation's personnel are factory trained and have a minimum of 8 years experience in saw grinding.
