The Saw & Specialty Sharpening Process:
Blades are put through an ultrasonic chemical bath to remove excess debris and grit from the teeth of the blade.
The blade is then polished so that we can detect any potential problems in the body of the blade.
The blades are then physically inspected for missing teeth, chips, balance issues, and other blade damage.
First time blades are then engraved with a unique tracking number for identification and record keeping purposes. This will develop a “history” for each blade in our record system. Sharpening and any type of repair are specifically noted for each blade by using this identification.
Blades are then ground with our Automatic CNC Machinery. Sharpening quality is ensured by calibrating our grinding machinery using the advanced DOPSIS system.
Blades are then spot-checked on the DOPSIS system and all blades are physically inspected once again.
Upon completion of the blade grind and possible repairs, the teeth of the blade are covered with an easily removed protective plastic strip.
