The
automatic horizontal panel machine is today's 'State of the Art' Tool for dime-
sional cutting. To maintain this extrador- inary productivity, the fabricator
must follow these simple but vital rules.
1.
Follow the machine manufacturers guide for routine machine maintenance.
2. Make certain the outboard table, which recie-
ves the cut board, is set slightly lower than the table holding the board waiting
to be cut.
3. Make certain your blades
are aligned to avoid skewing. A guide for testing and correction of Skew is available
from Saw & Specialty and General Saw Corporation.
4.
When installing a new set of blades, take the necessary time to carefully adjust
the scoring saw to cut about 3/64" deep into the underside of the board surface,
and then center the scorer with respect to the main blade.
5. Do not
allow thw blades to become excessively dull.
6. Always use a qualified
service shop
7. Buy from manufacturers with a proven track record!
