The
Tough Guy 2000 Series (HLP-2000) halogen machine fixture offers 110 volt capability
with the use of a 24 volt standard coil transformer built into a water-resistant
base. A standard coil transformer has been selected for increased reliability.
This fixture can be plugged directly into a 110 volt power source and was designed
and built to meet the demands of a tough machine environment in terms of heavy
coolant and vibration and flying metal debris.
The
Tough Guy 2000 offers the highest technological design to provide the machine
operator maximum reliability and longevity. The 5" head is molded as a single
piece of extruded aluminum to provide a waterproof head enclosure. The separate
backplate has been eliminated, removing another area where coolant can seep through
to the head assembly over time. Bulbs are easily changed by removing the 6 screws
on the front plate. High quality tempered glass lenses offer maximum light and
will withstand the harshest machine environment without double lenses or protective
shields.
A standard coil transformer
is housed in a waterproof base. The coil transformer was specifically chosen based
on its durablity and ruggedness. The Tough Guy 2000 has been designed to withstand
maximum machine abuse and offer the machine operator maximum light reliability
and safety.
Oversize knobs have been
designed in the Tough Guy to offer the operator ease of positioning without the
need to search for special tools. The T-bar handle is designed to provide the
operator quick and easy positioning of the light source

is optional, offering intensity control of 60-100%). The Series 2000 will also
accommodate 55 and 20 watt lamps.

watt fixture offers 1200 lumens. Average life is 2000 hours.
